Everything .. the history, the peaceful setting , the village folk were friendly and I so bar and restaurant awesome .. made us feel very welcome.. the Chateau though very old and authentic to a hedgers wax simple and lovely . We felt so privileged to be there .. . We slept like babies, and the views were exquisite from the window .

A lovely continental style breakfast, nothing was to much trouble if requested, very traditional fantastic setting, How often do you get to have breakfast in an authentic castle?

A lovely stay in an old restored castle in a beautiful little town nestled in the hills. Host was lovely and breakfast, although basic with bread, yogurt, coffee etc plentiful.

Dinner and breakfast were good. Very friendly and helpful host. Views over mountain village. Great atmosphere. Local street market outside the castle in the morning with fresh produce.

It's a real castle built in 1231, with very special atmosphere, but still with modern conveniences and at a reasonable price. The hostess is very kind and helpful.

It is an extraordinary experience to stay at an original castle, and on top of that to have a professional guidance by the owner herself!! Top!!!

It was built as a fort which made the stay more interesting than the usual chateaux. We had a comfortable room overlooking a wooded area with a stream running through it. Unfortunately we were not able to do the tour which would have been interesting. Marion ? was very helpful.
